architecture + fabrication
Vagabond provides a mobile platform to sell boutique clothing in urban and festival atmospheres. The design solution converts a bread truck into a portable store with both clothing and small goods presentation, a changing room, storage, lighting and point-of-sale area.
Creating a customer-focused atmosphere that still meets retail ‘backroom’ needs in an 18’ long x 8’ wide x 7’ tall presented challenges. The design provides comfort for the customer while stabilizing the mobile space and allowing displays adjustable for each season and ample storage.
