Community Work

Design + Fabrication

Knoxville, TN

In 2020, responding to a global pandemic, we provided Knoxville Montessori School and Nourish Knoxville with custom plexiglass shields to ensure safe environments. As custom makers, much of 2020 and 2021 was spent in this way — meeting the needs of small businesses to ensure their survival and safety. A steward of the environment, communities of people, and our city, Fork Design was established with a mission to serve and respond.

Forrest and his team at Fork Design are among the most dynamic, innovative, and thoughtful people we have worked with at KEC. Their creativity and attention to detail are off the charts, and their work ethic is unmatched. Perhaps more importantly, Forrest has spent years giving back to the community through a variety of charitable efforts and non-profit organizations. In particular, his work on the Mayor’s Maker Council building programming and events to support makers, and promoting Knoxville as The Maker City, has helped build a vibrant, thriving creative community here, and a better place for all of us to live!
